My Favorite USA Websites

September 13th, 2009

I often get asked, what are my favorite websites concerning made in USA issues? There are several that I really like.

American’s Working by David Riley at http://www.americansworking.com/ is an excellent resource for hundreds of American-Made products, plus I completely agree with his pro-America views. David also does an amazing free newsletter, which you can sign up for on his homepage.

I also really like MadebyYankees.net at http://madebyyankees.net/p1.htm which has a very extensive database of products made in America. Plus, if you cannot find what you are looking for, you can e-mail them and they will try to locate it for you for free.

Naturally, Roger Simmermaker’s website How to Buy America at http://www.howtobuyamerican.com/index.php is an inspiring resource (Please ignore my competitors advertising there. Ha! Ha!). Roger is author of the book How American’s Can Buy American is available there or on MadeinUSAForever.com. With his many TV appearances, while maintaining his job as a union machinist, has done more American industry recently than anyone I know. He is my hero.

With every American-made product we buy, we put someone back to work. These three websites are in the thick of the fight, and I am proud to stand among them.

Todd Lipscomb founder of MadeinUSAForever.com (http://madeinusaforever.com/) a source for products made in the USA.

Americans want to bring industry production back to our homeland. Thank you for working together with others to spearhead leadership and bring ideas of how we can all play a part in bringing home industry. Every consumer has a chance to play their part and your website will make it easy to make the choice.

Yes, I agree. I drive truck, 48 states and I am on the go 24/7. I have had many comments on Todds madeinusaforever bumper stickers on our truck and meet people every day that agree with keeping production in the US. Truck drivers get a firsthand look at depressed communities and vacant warehouses due to outsourcing and it makes us SICK…Right now, about 60% of what my husband and I wear and use are made in America. The only exception I make, is if I purchase something used….to me that is re-cycling. I still can’t seem to find an American made electric fan….so I was forced to purchase a foreign made one for our truck. There are a few other countries I buy from but with great disgression. Keep up the good work Todd and if you get any even larger bumper stickers, I will be glad to post them on our truck.

    Hey Todd!

Thanks for holding the bright light up for Made In USA products and our economy.

At very considerable ‘extra’ expense, I designed, had tooling made and am now, once again, manufacturing the finest Aerosol Spray Can Trigger Tool in the USA. My new, patent pending, product is called CAN-GUN1, the world’s first spray can tool with 2+X Leverage Action and a FullGrip Trigger for Effortless spraying of spray paints, adhesives, lubricants, cleaners, degreasers, household chemicals, etc. CAN-GUN1 costs 63% less than Rust-Oleum’s made in china, no warranty ‘competitive’ product, but my Lifetime Warranted product takes 1/512th (yes, one, five hundred and twelfth, the amount of pounds per square inch to pull the trigger and spray the contents.

Talk about good old American ingenuity!!!

CAN-GUN1 was just awarded both Handyman & Nat’l Street Machine Club’s of America’s Member Tested and Approved Seal and has been given a 99% Approval Rating by both member organizations. This puts our Made In USA CAN-GUN1 in the top 5% of all products EVER tested by both groups. Not bad for the ‘little guy’ eh?!?

CAN-GUN1 is available nationwide thru Ace Hardware (via their Acenet System) under their item # 1390657, and also thru Home Trends & Lee Valley Tools Catalogs as well as thru Valspar Corp.

I would appreciate the opportunity to supply you with our evolutionary CAN-GUN1 for sale on your site!

Thanks again for taking a stand for the USA!!!

    All the best.

Ken Becker, Pres. of SafeWorld Int’l., Inc. & Inventor of CAN-GUN1.
